AEW extends recognition to Brandy Chirco, who embarked on her architectural journey with AEW in 2014 and now holds the position of Senior Project Architect. Brandy plays a pivotal role in our team. Brandy offers valuable advice, emphasizing the importance of gaining experience in as many different areas that you can. Architecture doesn't exist in things like a vacuum, so the more you learn from structural, civil and survey, the better architect you will be, and the better your designs will be. To explore more about Brandy and how her career has progressed throughout the company, check out the career transformations page on our website. https://lnkd.in/gPjAjnqr #AEW #EngineeringStrongCommunities #CareerTransformations #EmployeeAppreciation #Architect #Career

Congratulations to Project Engineer Rose Askari and her team for placing 2nd in the ACE Mentor Program project competition. Rose’s team of 6 high school students and 4 mentors designed a mixed use development of three 21-floor buildings, including residential, commercial, civic center, green rooftop gardens, and garages on a seven-acre site that formerly housed a jail in downtown Detroit. This week, several AEW employees attended the 30th annual Career Focus Event hosted by Utica Community Schools Foundation for Educational Excellence at the Palazzo Grande. Sixth graders from all schools in the UCS district came prepared with career presentations to deliver to professionals and mentors. This year's Keynote Speaker, Channel 4 Crime and Safety expert Darnell Blackburn, delivered a powerful message to students: your career path may change along the way, but you will have great success when you discover what it is you are meant to do! AEW has proudly sponsored this inspiring event for several years and our own Juli Sala, Project Manager, is President of the Foundation. #futureleaders #engineeringstrongcommunities #AEWmentoring #UticaCommunitySchools
